Since 2003, Light Bible Ministries—formerly known as Heaven’s Shining Stars—has been serving communities in San Bernardino, Fontana, and Temecula, California. In 2019, the ministry relocated to Pensacola, Florida, where it continues to shine the light of Jesus in some of the darkest parts of our community—places where even some believers may hesitate to go.
Our mission is to touch, mend, and revive those without hope through the pure and sincere love of Jesus. Light Bible Ministries is dedicated to sharing the gospel with marginalized members of our community, bringing them the hope and restoration found in Christ.
Children’s Bible Activities
Our Children’s Activities program provides mentorship and personal care, offering love and guidance to each child while addressing the challenges they face at home. Through this support, we help transform their lives, leading them to experience the peace of Jesus. Our program focuses on Christ while also creating a fun and nurturing environment, especially for children who may not have a stable or supportive home life.

Weekly Bible Activities
- Early Childhood Learning Program for Children Ages 3-5:
This program includes Bible-based art, gardening, nature day activities, a reading program, performing arts with a biblical focus, puppet and balloon gospel shows, holiday celebrations, field trips, and more.
Saturday Children’s Bible Club Evangelism
- Games, Bible studies, group mentoring, puppet shows, singing, and more.
- Our Children’s Ministry also provides transportation to events and activities, as well as essential items such as clothing, shoes, food, toys, and other necessities for children in need.
Women Advocate Program & Women in the Light and Mommy and Me Activity
The ministry offers one on one and group mentoring, counseling and discipleship.

Men in the Community
Our Men’s Community Outreach provides a welcoming space for men, whether homeless or not, to come to our center and study the Word of God with a Christian mentor.
- Prayer Support and additional resources for those in need.
- Job and Volunteer Opportunities to support employment and skill development.
- Assistance with Essentials, including clothing, shoes, food, and work IDs.
Donation Thrift Store/Work Training
Our donation and work training area is a place where community members can donate items such as clothing, shoes, household goods, food, and more.
- We accept $1 per item or any donation for the items donated.
- We offer volunteer work and free training for members of our ministry at our thrift store, helping them develop strong work ethics and gain experience before moving on to paid employment.
- We partner with a nearby grocery store for this service
Our donation thrift store serves as a lighthouse, providing essential supplies to the homeless. Any woman, mother, or child in the community can utilize the resources available at our store.
Future Goals
- Build Tiny Homes for women, the homeless, and mothers with children.
- Organize a Church for the homeless community.
- Create a Mommy and Me Bible Academy for children from Kindergarten to 12th grade.
